Candle Care
A little care goes a long way.
Look after your Luxe House Melbourne candle well and it will burn cleaner, last longer and fragrance your space beautifully. Consider this your guide to getting the very best from every burn.
- On the first burn, allow the wax to melt almost to the edge of the vessel. This helps prevent tunnelling and sets your candle up for a beautiful, even burn.
- Keep your wick trimmed to approximately 4mm before each burn. A well-trimmed wick means a cleaner burn, better scent throw and a longer candle life.
- Never leave a burning candle unattended. Keep away from children, pets and draughts.
- Stop burning your candle when approximately 1.5cm of wax remains at the bottom of the vessel. This helps prevent overheating and the wick from shifting.
- As tempting as an all-day burn may be, keep each burn to a maximum of 4 hours for our Large candle and 2.5 hours for our Midi.
- When it’s time to extinguish, use a candle snuffer or wick dipper.
